SQF Information Forum Series June 2008
The SQF Program continues to experience a substantial growth in interest among retailers worldwide and an increasing number of retailers now request that their suppliers' food safety and quality management systems are audited and certified to meet the requirements of the GFSI recognized programs such as SQF.
Buyers have committed to supporting third-party certification and are convinced of the benefits. Some suppliers, however, may have little knowledge of the SQF Program and are seeking further information and reassurance about its benefits.
