FAQs for Certification Bodies

FAQ – Certification Bodies

  1. How do I gain access to the secured part of the help center?

Gaining access to the Help Center requires you/your e-mail address to be tied to a Certification Body within the SQFI database, not CMX. If your SQFI credentials will not allow you access to the SQFI Help Center, please send an e-mail to info@sqfi.com for additional assistance for Help Center Access.

  2. If a registration was completed outside the new SQF assessment database, how should the audit be completed?

For sites that completed their registration prior to the 07/01/2024 CMX launch date, their audits should be completed via the checklist process that was in place prior to 07/01/2024 and uploaded to Sharepoint. If you do not have the most recent Checklist creator, please reach out via info@SQFI.com and a link will be provided.

  3. Should we register in SQF Assessment Database if we have already started or completed our audit?

No, if your audit for 2024 has already begun or been completed, you should not register in the CMX database for that year. Instead, send an email to info@SQFI.com with your Site Name, Site Address, and the code(s) your Site is registering for. If you have already registered and paid before 07/01/2024, avoid registering again in CMX for a 2024 audit.

  4. Where can I find the video of the training that was recorded?

Those videos can be found within the Certification Body portion of our Help Center. Please use the link below to be redirected to that page.

  5. I need to have two profiles, one as an auditor and one as part of a certification body, is this possible?

Yes, you are allowed to have two separate profiles within CMX, but they must have separate e-mail addresses. Your auditor profile must have a separate e-mail address than your CB (Certification Body) profile. This is for the security purposes of the different CBs (Certification Bodies) that you might do business with as an auditor.
